Privacy Policy

I only collect the information you send me when you get in touch or attend therapy, I use it only to schedule and provide therapy, and I never sell it to anyone. This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) – and the Croatian Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (Official Gazette NN 42/2018).

Last updated: October 24, 2026. This is a translation; if it differs from the Croatian version, the Croatian version applies.

What data do I collect?

  • When you contact me by email, phone or WhatsApp: your name, contact details (email or phone number) and the content of your message.
  • When you attend therapy: session dates, the details needed for payment and invoicing, and session notes. Notes may include information about your health and personal life, which are special categories of personal data.
  • When you visit the website: anonymous visit statistics (which page was opened, which site you came from, browser type and country). They cannot be used to identify you.

Why do I use your data?

  • To reply to your inquiry and schedule a session – at your request, before we agree on therapy (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To provide therapy and keep the necessary records – based on our agreement and your explicit consent for health data (Art. 6(1)(b) and Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR).
  • To issue invoices and meet tax and accounting obligations – based on a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • To see how the website is used and improve it – based on legitimate interest, using anonymous statistics only (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

I don't use your data for marketing and I don't make automated decisions about you.

Is what I say in therapy confidential?

Yes. Everything you share in therapy is covered by the professional duty of confidentiality and the ethical principles of the profession. I disclose information to third parties only with your consent or when the law explicitly requires it, for example if there is a serious risk to your life or the lives of others.

How long do I keep your data?

  • Inquiries that don't lead to therapy – up to 12 months after our last contact.
  • Therapy records – as required by law and professional rules.
  • Invoices and accounting records – 11 years, as required by the Croatian Accounting Act.

When the retention period ends, I permanently delete or anonymize the data.

Who else can see your data?

I don't sell your data or share it for advertising. Only the following may have access to some of it, and only as far as necessary:

  • competent authorities, if required by law or a court order;
  • my email provider and phone carrier, to communicate with you;
  • an accounting service, for invoices;
  • GitHub Pages, which hosts this website (technical access logs, such as IP addresses);
  • GoatCounter, for anonymous visit statistics without cookies.

If you message me on WhatsApp, the message is also processed by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy. For sensitive matters, I recommend email or talking in person.

Does the website use cookies?

No. The website does not set tracking or advertising cookies, and fonts are served from this website, not from external services. The map in the contact section is a plain image; Google Maps opens only when you click it. The same applies to the Instagram and LinkedIn links – those sites have their own privacy policies.

What are your rights?

At any time, you can request:

  • access to the data I hold about you and a copy of it;
  • correction of inaccurate data;
  • deletion of your data, except data I'm required to keep by law;
  • restriction of processing or transfer of your data (data portability);
  • withdrawal of consent, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal;
  • objection to processing based on legitimate interest.

Send your request to tatjanamrsic@semper-integra.com; I will reply within one month. If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you can file a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, azop.hr.

How do I protect your data?

I keep notes and records secure and accessible only to me, and the website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).

I may update this policy from time to time; the current version is always published on this page with the date of the last update.
